Kidnapping and Murder of Gym Trainer in Rivalry, 6 Arrested

The victim, Zakir, filed a complaint with the Rozka Mev police stating that his son Asif, his nephew Rashid, and two others were returning from Sohna after purchasing medicine on Sunday evening. They were traveling in a Santro car when, near Zakhopur, Ranbir from the village, along with his accomplices, collided with their vehicle. After forcibly stopping the car, they began beating Asif and Rashid. The accused kidnapped Asif and took him to an unknown location. Rashid informed the family, and they rushed to the spot to search for Asif but couldn’t find any trace of him. Subsequently, the family notified the police. The police later found Asif’s body near Nangle village late at night. Zakir accused several villagers, including Patwari, Advani, Bhim, Sonu, Kota, Anup, Balla, Nathoo, Mahendra, Kuldeep, Raju Khedli Dosa, Kala, and Sandeep, of kidnapping and murder. The police sent the body to Nalhar Medical College for a post-mortem. A case was registered against 14 named suspects and approximately 15-20 others, and six accused have been arrested. Meanwhile, tensions ran high in the village and the city of Nuh on Monday following the incident. The police superintendent, Narendra Bijaraniya, visited the CHC and assured the family of all possible support, stating that the guilty parties would not be spared.

Accused’s Gym Looted:
The family of the deceased allegedly ransacked the accused party’s gym and stole goods worth lakhs of rupees.

Police Stone Attacked:
On Monday, several youths gathered at the Nuh CHC. After the burial, the youths threw stones at the police team at Adbar Chowk. The police, with help from other officers, dispersed the crowd. Reports suggest that the police fired shots during this confrontation.

Accused’s Side:
According to the accused, the conflict between the two families had been ongoing for years. They claim that Asif had taken photos of girls changing clothes at a school event several years ago, which started the feud. A month earlier, there was also a fatal attack on the village Patwari, who narrowly escaped by seeking refuge in someone else’s home. Additionally, Asif had previously fought with Advani and his cousin.

Strict Action Against the Accused:
DSP Sudhir Taneja from the Nuh district headquarters stated that no one involved in the crime would be spared. The police had arrested six suspects within 24 hours of the victim’s complaint, and justice would be served for the victims.
